The Traffic Engineer is responsible for completing assigned tasks under the supervision of the Team Leader, Project Manager or more experienced engineers. This position is expected to apply the concepts learned through required education, prior professional experience and new training to perform trafic and transportation analysis and tasks as assigned. Provides guidance and may direct the activities of technical staff in completion of assigned work.

As a Civil Engineer with Snyder & Associates, you’ll work directly with our clients in a hands-on role that focuses on the planning, design and delivery of projects. You’ll perform civil engineering from design through construction, while utilizing your significant design and practice experience in a lead designer role. During the beginning phases of a project, you’ll listen intently to our clients and identify the proper approach to design fit-for-purpose solutions. Snyder & Associates' offices in Council Bluffs and Omaha office have immediate needs for an experienced CADD Technician to work in the creation of detailed drawing and construction plan preparation in civil engineering projects. This opportunity will be directly involved in the design process of civil engineering projects throughout the region.

This position could be based from the following Snyder office locations: Ankeny (Des Moines), Cedar Rapids, Iowa City or Council Bluffs/Omaha.
