We are excited to present this growth opportunity in our new Omaha office for a civil engineer to join our consulting engineering practice. 

 

Snyder & Associates is a multidisciplinary Civil Engineering Firm working on most facets of transportation and site development projects as well as water and wastewater treatment and distribution. This particular opportunity includes an attractive mix of design-related duties as well as client exposure for a variety of civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work on a variety of project assignments for public and private clientele. Will be hands-on in helping develop project estimates, scope and design, and will stay involved in projects from start to finish. This role will also include regular interaction with with other design engineers, clients and regulatory agencies, and requires a strong work ethic consistent with our culture. Our approach to our work encourages individual contribution and team work toward the common goal of delivering successful work to our clients.

 

Qualifications

In addition to the previously described duties, preference would be given to a candidate who possesses the following: 

  • BS degree in Civil or Construction Engineering
  • EI designation required, PE a plus
  • Prior internships or full time experience with civil engineering consulting services
  • Prior design experience in general civil, municipal, transportation or environmental projects preferred
  • Structural design experience in relation to tanks and walls a plus
  • On pace to achieve PE licensure in Nebraska
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
  • The high-profile of services provided in this position necessitate the incumbent reside or relocate to the immediate Omaha, NE area.
