Snyder & Associates seeks a landscape architect to join our Land Development work group in Ankeny, IA.  This position will work on various assignments and projects, primarily in the areas of site development, parks and recreation, athletic facilities and landscape design. This is a great oppportunity for an experience landscape architect to apply their skills and vision to a diverse range of client projects.

• Designs, develops, and modifies drawings for site development and landscape architecture
• Prepares plan documents according to established
• Develops solutions to technical
• Prepares design concepts, design development drawings, and construction
• Preparation of colored presentation graphics and drawings.
• Preparation of project design narratives and graphic report production.
• Leads project design development work efforts and leads small teams in plan production.

Experience

2+ years of experience. This is a position that requires some experience working in a consulting firm environment. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively work with people at all levels in a project team.

Technology

Broad technical experience preferred. Must demonstrate competency in using AutoCAD. Must demonstrate competency in using graphic design software such as Adobe Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop and In-Design, as both a design tool and in the preparation of drawings/images for a wide range of project illustrations

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture is required.
