Overview

We are looking for talented Landscape Architects to join our Madison office. Snyder & Associates is an award-winning, multi-discipline design and planning firm with 13 offices in five Midwest states. Our team of landscape architects, engineers, and planners help create well-crafted solutions for a wide range of work that includes meaningful spaces for higher education campuses, recreational trails, private development, healthcare providers, mixed-use developments, and parks and open spaces.

Responsibilities

Ideal candidates should be self-motivated, team-oriented, and driven to help grow our landscape architecture portfolio. Candidates should be passionate about being involved in all phases of work including business development, site analysis, design, planning, project management, project production, construction administration, and daily office operations.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited College or University
  • All levels of experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp. Experience with ArcMap/GIS and Lumion is preferred.
  • Construction document preparation, drafting, and detail design
  • Experience with a variety of project types
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well individually and as a member of a team
  • Reliable and hard-working
  • Detail oriented and solution driven

Other professional skills and qualifications that would be valuable are:

  • Licensed P.L.A in Wisconsin (or in progress for licensure)
  • Understanding of proposal development
  • Ability to self-manage projects
