    • Pursue and work on a variety of transportation projects that vary widely in complexity and scope. This is a hands-on role in the planning, design and delivery of projects from start to finish.
    • Keeping other engineers and design technicians productive, maintaining the needed pace to complete projects within budget constraints and client expectations.
    • Maintaining a high standard of quality, creativity, and collaboration within the project team.
    • Maintaining a positive working relationship with clients through effective communication, commitment to service, and flexibility needed to address shifting priorities from time to time.
    • Communicating effectively in both spoken and written form to effectively interact with people at all levels of technical skill.


    • Minimum of eight years experience in civil engineering, preferrably in a consultative capacity with an emphasis on transportation.
    • Demonstrated success managing project teams and related staff.
    • Successful experience applying leadership and mentoring skills.
    • Must have relevant project experience on the North American continent.
    • Experience in managing project designs and deliveries with demonstrated professional growth and development.
    • Professional Engineer license is required.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Demonstrated success in leading project team efforts from design through construction.
    • Strong client relationship capabilities.
    • Proven abilities to complete assignments within agreed-to time and budget constraints.
    • Strong communication skills such as verbal skills, business writing skills, and the ability to clearly communicate technical subject matter to a wide range of audiences.
