  • Overview

    Position is directly involved in delivery and support of office technology at all locations in the Snyder & Associates organization and the 250+ employee user community. The Snyder IT environment includes but is not limited to:

     

    Network servers, archive, data storage management, system security including antivirus maintenance, 3rd party vendor interface, hardware setup, installation and maintenance, replacement and disposal, WAN management, video conference support.

    Responsibilities

    The IT unit is very service-oriented at Snyder & Associates. The firm's high standards of excellence in meeting client needs depends upon current, reliable IT system performance.

    • Deliver reliable and timely services and solutions to internal customers.
    • Assist with IT services
    • Set up of new users, computers and peripheral hardware
    • Process documentation and distribution
    • Systems and software maintenance including installation, initialization of software and updates as required
    • User support in areas of system performance, PC/Laptop performance
    • Assist with network and system administration
    • Maintain and troubleshoot network performance issues
    • Team-up with other IT staff as needed
    • Once trained, perform as back-up resource to others in IT
    • Phone system assistance

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years experience in a technology support capacity similar to the responsibilities stated above
    • Minimum 2 year degree in computer technology or similar discipline
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
    • SQL experience is a plus
    • Programming experience is a plus
    • Strong problem solving skills with a demonstrated history of accomplishment in responding to and resolving technical issues
    • Able to interact with a variety of internal customers at all levels within the organization and able to quickly establish rapport with people of varying degrees of comfort with technology
    • Reliable and dependable - regular attendance
    • Must support and follow company policy
    • Experience in setup, configuration and troubleshooting of Windows desktop/laptop hardware, software such as Adobe, Microsoft Office 2016 required
    • Basic knowledge of mobile devices, network & infrastructure topology, troubleshooting and diagnostics
